About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting our employees, and driving technological innovation within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
System Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect the company’s data and IT systems from cyber threats.
Software Development: Collaborate with teams to develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions that meet business needs.
Data Management: Manage and analyze data to support decision-making processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure the company’s IT needs are met.
Training and Documentation: Provide training to employees on new systems and technologies, and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux servers and network infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) is a plus.
- Experience with database management and data analysis tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS) are highly desirable.
